Jerry Casagrande is CEO of CarrotSeed, a firm
specializing in the marketing of reusable and biodegradable products.
Prior to founding CarrotSeed, he was the President and Founder
of a successful outdoor school, serving underprivileged and other
teens from across the United States. He also served as the Director
of Environmental Initiatives at Ashoka, a global leader in social
entrepreneurship. Mr. Casagrande began his career as a financial
and market analyst for the World Bank’s Privatization Services
division and the InterAmerican Development Bank, where he worked
on renewable energy projects in the Brazilian sertao. Mr. Casagrande
holds an MBA and an MA in Latin American Studies from Stanford
University, and a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College.

James Mackey is Managing Director of Origination
for Dynegy, Inc., one of the nations’ largest independent electric
generators. Mr. Mackey leads a team of commercial professionals
with principal responsibility for all structured and negotiated
transactions used to optimize Dynegy’s 19,000 MW fleet. Mr. Mackey
joined Dynegy in 2007 from JPMorgan, where he was Vice President
of Energy Origination in the Investment Bank’s Global Currency
and Commodities Group. Mr. Mackey’s previous experience includes
commercial roles with Duke Energy, Reliant Energy and Enron. He
holds a BA in Economics from Trinity College, CT, and an MBA from
the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University
of Virginia. James and his family live in Houston, Texas. |
