Solar Water Heaters
Hydro Green Energy's Solar Water Heaters are also known as Solar thermal systems. Solar thermal systems convert sunlight into heat for use in heating swimming pools, domestic water heating, space heating and occasionally cooling. Solar collectors are categorized by whether they discharge low- or medium-temperature water.
Hydro Green Energy's low-temperature systems commonly are used to heat swimming pool water, and generally operate at about 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius). Hydro Green Energy's medium-temperature systems heat air or liquid to about 180 F (82 C) to provide space, water and process heating for homes and businesses. Residential hot water systems are the most common example, and usually consist of “flatplate” collectors—large, flat boxes with one or more covers.
